The need

You’d like to be there more. But you can’t be everywhere.

Work, distance, children and daily commitments can make it hard to be as present as we’d like for the people we love.

This doesn’t mean loving less. It means being human.

In Buona Compagnia was born to help you be there, even when you can’t be physically.

The solution

When you can’t be there, we can.

A carefully chosen person builds an ongoing relationship with the one you love: not a one-off visit, but a presence that returns and becomes familiar.

We don’t replace the family. We stand beside it.

The relationship with the family stays at the centre. We are one more presence: a trusted person who can be there when you can’t, helping you feel more at ease and giving the one you love company, listening and continuity.

A theme close to our heart

Loneliness has no age.

It can touch an elderly parent, a new mother without a network nearby, a person with a disability, someone living far from family, or anyone going through a particular moment. We don’t talk about diagnoses or clinical needs: we talk about people and the value of not feeling alone.

Not someone who passes by. Someone who comes back.

The same person, whenever possible, returns over time and builds a real relationship with the one they accompany. Continuity is what turns a visit into a bond — and it is the heart of In Buona Compagnia.

Da quando è rimasta sola, le giornate di Mirella erano diventate silenziose. Ora c'è di nuovo una voce in casa, un tè condiviso, qualcuno con cui guardare fuori dalla finestra senza sentirsi sola.

About us

In Buona Compagnia was born from us, Laura and Federico, from the belief that human relationships, trust and presence can make a concrete difference in the lives of people and families.

You don’t have to be there always. You just need to know that, when you can’t, someone can.
